Project Location

LA Storage Facility
Phase 1 of LA Storage is designed to include three natural gas storage caverns, an associated pipeline and supporting facilities located on a company-owned 160-acre parcel in Cameron Parish. Phase 1 is currently under construction, with a targeted commercial operations date in Q2 2027. Upon completion, Phase 1 is anticipated to provide approximately 16.5 billion cubic feet (Bcf) of natural gas storage capacity and an interconnect with Port Arthur Pipeline.
Expansion Opportunities
Sempra Infrastructure is evaluating a Phase 2 LA Storage Expansion opportunity that could provide up to 22.2 Bcf of incremental storage capacity through the development of up to three additional storage caverns on the existing 160-acre parcel in Cameron Parish. The potential expansion would leverage Sempra Infrastructure’s existing asset footprint, including the Port Arthur Pipeline and Gillis Hub Pipeline. Sempra Infrastructure announced a non-binding open season for a Phase 2 LA Storage Expansion, running from March 2, 2026 through March 30, 2026.
