Sempra Infrastructure recently partnered with Texas Parks & Wildlife for their annual Kids Fish fishing tournament at Sea Rim State Park in Sabine Pass, Texas. The unique coastal park has 5.2 miles of Gulf shoreline and 4,000 acres of marshlands and is located just south of the future site of Port Arthur LNG.
Kids received free fishing rods, reels, and tackle and bait supplies. Over 50 Environmental champions volunteered to help kids bait hooks, measure fish and return them to the ocean. The annual free shore fishing event helps encourage outdoor recreation and conservation. Nearly 300 kids attended this fin-tastic event!
“We are proud to put our energy behind our partnerships in the community, which align with our values of doing the right thing, championing people and shaping the future,” said Iman Garrett-Price, community outreach and events advisor for Sempra Infrastructure. “Sponsoring events like Kids Fish is how we continue to make a positive and purpose-filled impact.”
