As a company dedicated to championing health and safety programs that help protect our employees, facilities and the communities in which we operate, Port Arthur LNG is proud to announce a brand new partnership with Grace Hub, Inc.
Grace Hub, Inc. is an organization with a mission to eradicate hunger in the Port Arthur area through its Greater Port Arthur Food Bank Project. The food service program provides residents in need with USDA fresh vegetables/fruit, meats and dairy boxes at local community distribution events.
Port Arthur LNG recently made a $10,000 donation to Grace Hub for Holiday giving which includes turkeys for the Thanksgiving distribution event on November 23rd and Love’s Front Door Love Bags.
“We are grateful for our new partner, Port Arthur LNG, for their commitment to us to help serve and love on the citizens of Port Arthur & Jefferson County. They now hold a key to Love’s Front Door,” said Dr. Simeon L. Queen, President & CEO of Grace Hub.
Food distributions take place at Memorial High School throughout November and December. Upcoming events include distributions on November 28, December 5, December 12, and a special December 19 Christmas Giveaway. Distributions will begin at noon each Saturday and will conclude when all offerings have been distributed.
“The new partnership with Grace Hub is exciting, and our recent donation is the beginning of a long-term collaboration to ensure our neighbors have healthy and nutritious food, said Melissa Londenberg, Community Outreach Specialist for the Port Arthur LNG project.
